Forza Horizon 4's Car Pass Will Add Two New Cars Each Week

Forza Horizon 4 pre-order's are live over on the Xbox and Microsoft Store, however based on the description of the Car Pass, it seems Playground Games are going to change up how new downloadable content is added to the game.

42 new cars are going to be added to Forza Horizon 4 with the car pass, a similar number to previous Forza Motorsport and Horizon Car Passes. In previous entries, new cars have been added roughly each month.

Forza Horizon 4 looks to eliminate that monthly wait for new content. Over the first 21 weeks, two new cars will be added to the game each week - meaning you'll have brand new content on a weekly basis up until March 2019.

The Microsoft Store description of the Forza Horizon 4 Car Pass reads as follows:

Get 42 extra cars at one low price! The Forza Horizon 4 Car Pass will deliver two new cars to your game every week over a 21-week period beginning 2nd October 2018. If you start playing the game after this period has begun, all previously released cars included with the Car Pass will be available for your game garage. All cars included in the Car Pass grant you a one-time only, free addition of each car to your Forza Horizon 4 garage, with no additional in-game credit cost.

A move like this is very unlike Forza past games, but shows the studio understands that how DLC content is being delivered is evolving, and are following how other companies like Epic Games do this to keep their games feeling fresh everytime people play.

How this will affect those who do not purchase the Car Pass is currently unknown, however Car Packs separate from the Car Pass are already confirmed, with the Formula Drift and Day One car packs available as pre-order bonuses.
