Hot Shots, The Crew 2’s third post-launch content update, launches tomorrow and Ivory Tower have revealed all the new features and content coming with the update, including the highly-requested return of The Summit, brand new cars, vanity items and more!

Here’s everything you need to know about the Hot Shots update, the biggest content update Ivory Tower have made for The Crew 2 so far:

The LIVE Summit

The LIVE Summit is The Crew 2’s take on beloved Summit originally featured in 2015’s The Crew: Wild Run expansion. The LIVE Summit features weekly PvE competition for players to take part in, with thematic playlists of nine activities each curated around unique events and disciplines.

As you progress through a Live Summit, you’ll climb the leaderboards based on how you perform in all nine activities - with unique rewards for which ever place you rank, from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Obtaining a platinum rank will always earn you an exclusive reward, with the last Live Summit of each month rewarding an exclusive vehicle.

New Vehicles

Brand new vehicles are being introduced with the Hot Shots update, including the exclusive worldwide premiere of the 2018 Bugatti Divo. This exceptional vehicle is by far the most agile and dynamic car Bugatti has ever created, and will be making its first videogame debut in The Crew 2.

Three Elite new rides will also be added with the update: 2013 Lamborghini Egoista, 2016 Ferrari 488 Pista and 2016 Acura NSX GT3. In addition, the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X are also being added as this months Vehicle Drop, which Season Pass holders get 7-day early access to.

Hot Shots will also be introducing Limited Edition Vehicles, the ultimate reward for car lovers. These vehicles are exclusive rewards for some of the LIVE Summits, which Ivory Tower have been teasing over the past month such as the Red Fury Evo X, the Golden Gem Audi RS5 and Blue Storm Ford Focus RS.

New Customization: Vanity Items

With the Hot Shots update, Ivory Tower are taking The Crew 2’s customization the the next level with brand new, over-the-top customization options for cars and planes.

These new vanity items include custom tires to make your car stand out and tire smoke effects (also works for planes when switched on in flight)

Vanity Items will be obtainable rewards in the LIVE Summit, but can also be purchased with Crew Credits from the new Far & Beyond Store located at any of the HQ’s around the map. There are three rarity levels of tires and smoke effects: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. The higher the Tier, the more exclusive the item.

Use brand new vanities like lightning tire smoke, gold tires and more to create the most personalized ride you’ve ever driven in The Crew 2.

New Feature: Scrap and Recaliber

Originally when you would scrap parts in The Crew 2, players would earn nothing from doing so other than clearly inventory space to make way for new parts you’ll earn. With the Hot Shots update, a new form of currency is being added called Spare Parts.

Using Spare Parts earned from dismantling older PerfParts will allow you to recaliber and upgrade any of your best PerfParts with better affixes. Spare Parts can also be purchased for Bucks or Crew Credits at the Far & Beyond store.

Smaller New Additions
