Burnout Paradise Remaster for PS4 and Xbox One Listed by Brazilian Retailer

It's been a very long time since we last saw an entry in the Burnout series, and if this rumor is anything to go by, we may be seeing a return very soon.

Spotted by the Brazilian Blog GamePress, a Brazilian retailer has effectively outed an upcoming Burnout Paradise remaster coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this March. You can view the listing down below:

A quick conversion would show that 149.90 Brazilian Real (R$) would equate to around £33 /$45 USD, however TheNerdMag noted that games in Brazil are usually overpriced compared to the rest of the world so the actual retail cost could be something closer to £25 /$30USD.

This does raise question EA's stance on remasters, as back in 2015 the company shared they have no time or interest in HD re-releases and in 2016 said they won't make Mass Effect remasters as they'd distract from their future catalog of titles. Not to mention that a Bulletstorm Remaster did release earlier in the year.

Considering that January 2018 will be the 10 year anniversary of Burnout Paradise, a remaster on PS4 and Xbox One could be quite the celebration for the title.

Remember to take this with a grain of salt as it is just a rumor, but personally I'm hoping this is true. Burnout Paradise was one of the first PS3 games I bought and is one I have very fond memories with to this day, and a game I'd gladly buy a remaster of. What are you thoughts on a possible remaster?
