Exclusive: The Crew 2's Racing Disciplines, Vehicle Specs and Progression Detailed

The Crew 2 features four main progression paths for players to take known as Racing Disciplines, which are split up for each of the different Motorsports that are on offer - Street Racing, Freestyle, Offroad and Pro Racing - each with their own unique vehicle specs to use.

These Racing Disciplines can be completed in any order, or without completing any of the others at all.  Each Racing Discipline features its own unique questline for players to progress through, with their own leader introducing you to that questline as you ultimately progress up the Racing Disciplines rankings to take down the champion.

As we reported on recently, each of the four Racing Disciplines will host their own HQ area for players to freely explore in first person, letting you view and purchase cars, and compare online friends leaderboard scores.

Vehicle Specs from The Crew return in this game in a much more expanded way than the first game. Each Discipline features their own unique roster of vehicles, with events and specs catered to that style of Motorsports.

The Street Racing Discipline focuses on four vehicle specs - Street, Drag, Drift and Hyper. The Freestyle Discipline features Aerobatics (plane), Jetsprint (boat) and Monster Truck specs. Offroad Discipline features Rally Raid, Rally Cross and Motorcross specs and Pro Racing Discipline features Power Boat, Circuit, Alpha GP and Stunt Plane specs.

You'll begin your The Crew 2 journey as an Anonymous racer, and as you boost your Followers Level by completing races and activities, you'll slowly climb up the levels. So far, there are four Followers Levels to progress through: Rookie, Popular, Famous and Star. Going up these ranks will in turn, unlock new cars and vehicle spec events for these Disciplines.
