GRID Season 3 Adds 6 New Cars, Suzuka Circuit, New Achievements and More

The third season of GRID’s post-launch content has been detailed, adding a total of six new vehicles, a brand new circuit, 9 new trophies/achievements, a new career expansion and more — making it GRID’s biggest content drop to date.

GRID Season 3 kicks it into gear on April 15th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Lets take a look at everything players can expect:

Six New Vehicles


Season 1 focused on Hot Hatches while Season 2 focused on Track Day Supercars, Season 3 continues the focus on adding brand-new track cars to GRID, only this time they’re some of the fastest machines on the planet — Track Day Hypercars.

Owners of the Ultimate Edition will get access to the Track Day Hypercars Pack, which adds four brand new vehicles:

  • Ferrari FXX-K Evo

  • Koenigsegg Jesko

  • Koenigsegg Agera RS

  • Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport

In addition, two bonus cars are also coming with the Track Day Hypercars pack which are FREE for all players of GRID:

  • Honda NSX-GT

  • Nissan GT-R Racing Car (GT500 Spec)

New Circuit: Suzuka Circuit

A brand-new circuit is coming to GRID with the launch of Season 3. On April 15th, you’ll be flying to Japan to get to grips with the Suzuka Circuit.

For the first time in the GRID franchise, the famous Japanese circuit is now available complete with its intricate snake-like corners, old-school aesthetic and long and sweeping curves.

The Suzuka Circuit is available to all GRID players in Career, Free Play and Mulitplayer, and features six different route variations for players to race on, which can all be raced on in each of the nine different weather and time of day conditions available in GRID.

New Career Events and Customization


Season 3 will also bring a new expansion to GRID’s career mode, adding an extra 33 new events which utilize the new Suzuka Circuit and Track Day Hypercars.

Ultimate Edition players can find the new events in a brand new tab in the Career menu, featuring two new threads of events and the latest Ravenwest Motorsport Challenge.

As with Seasons 1 and 2, Season 3 also adds a bunch of new customization items to GRID for those with GRID Ultimate Edition, including:

  • 14 new liveries

  • Six new livery patterns

  • Five new player cards

  • Five new player banners

Five of these liveries will be available at launch of Season 3 by default, the rest will have to be earned by progressing through the new Season 3 career events.

New Trophies/Achievements


After much request, 9 brand-new trophies and achievements are being added to GRID for players to unlock, with 3 trophies/achievements to unlock per season.

Season 1:

  • High Altitude - Beat a 4.11.700 lap time on Okutama Sprint Mizu Mountain with the Audi S1 Quattro Concept

  • Delta Time - Beat a 1.38.000 lap time on Shanghai Waibaidu Way with the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Super Hatch

  • Fast for a Hatchback - Beat a 1.52.600 lap time on Havana Paseo de Marti with the MINI Hatch JCW

Season 2:

  • British Heritage - Beat a 1.53.200 lap time on Silverstone Circuit Grand Prix Circuit with the Brabham BT62

  • Burning Rubber - Beat a 1.54.300 lap time on Sepang International Circuit Full Track with the Ferrari FXX

  • A Wheely Good Time - Beat a 1.40.600 lap time on Crescent Valley GP Circuit with the Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro

Season 3:

  • Gone in a Flash - Beat a 1.47.800 lap time on Okutama GP Grand Circuit with the Koenigsegg Agera RS

  • Painting the Track Red - Beat a 1.25.600 lap time on Indianapolis Sport Circuit with the Ferrari FXX-K Evo

  • Flights to Catch - Beat a 00.41.800 lap time on Suzuka Circuit East Course with the Koenigsegg Jesko

Lastly, after much feedback from the community, Freeplay and Multiplayer races are seeing a drastic credits boost which can see reward values be boosted between four to more than ten times their previous amount. Additional credit boosts will also be rewarded based on the amount of assists you have active in addition to the type of car you’re using.

And that’s everything coming to GRID Season 3!
