Playground Games have revealed the first major update coming to Forza Horizon 4 at the end of next month, and it’s packed with a ton of content including the hotly-anticipated Route Creator, a new Horizon Story and more.

Last night on the FH4 Goodwood special of Inside Xbox, we got our first look at the first month of content coming to Forza Horizon 4 for all players, with eight new cars exclusive to owners of the Car Pass.

On October 25th, the ‘Route Creator’ update will be available adding with it the Route Creator feature, a new Horizon Story where players produce episodes for a Horizon Festival TV Series, a Halloween Party event with themed clothing and car horns, and tons of new Forzathon content including new events, challenges, cars, and exclusive shop items.

Early this month we reported how the Route Creator feature won’t be available at launch, with studio wanting to spend a few more weeks ironing out any bugs within the feature and ensuring that it ships completed.

In addition, Creative Director Ralph Fulton showcased a full deep dive into the upcoming Route Creator on Inside Xbox, which you can check out for yourselves down below.

Forza Horizon 4 releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 on October 2nd 2018, or September 28th 2018 for Ultimate Edition purchasers, and will be available free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch.
