Forza Horizon 4 Update 11 Adds Top Gear Car Pack, New Exclusive Cars and More
Playground Games have officially revealed their latest post-launch content update, adding tons of new additions including a Top Gear themed car pack and Horizon Story, new seasonal reward cars, the return of Class-Based Rivals and much more.
Highlighting Horizon 4’s eleventh content update is the Top Gear Car Pack and Horizon Story. Playground Games have partnered up with the BBC to bring their iconic motoring show to Forza Horizon for the first time ever.
The new Horizon Story contains seven unique chapters all narrated by current Top Gear host Chris Harris, putting you behind the wheel of some of the silliest rides ever featured on the show, including…. a tractor. Yep, a tractor…
The Top Gear car pack will feature three new rides for players to use, all of which are unlocked via progressing through the Top Gear Horizon Story. You can find the new vehicles below:
2018 Top Gear Track-Tor
2014 Mercedes-Benz G63 6x6
2017 Mercedes-Benz E 350D 4Matic All-Terrain
You will also unlock various Top Gear related cosmetics as you progress through the Horizon Story too, including an “I Am The Stig” tee and a Stig race suit.
Speaking of new cars, Five new seasonal reward cars are being added with Update 11 as part of the next Festival series playlist. You can find the new seasonal exclusive vehicles below:
2011 McLaren 12C Coupé
2006 Koenigsegg CCX
2019 Ford Ranger Raptor - purchasable via Autoshow
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - Deberti Design
1996 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport
Class-Based Rivals, one of the most highly-requested features from the community, is finally being added to Forza Horizon 4 with this update. With Class-Based Rivals in Horizon 4, you’ll no longer be restricted to a certain class and now be able to pick whichever class you’d like (besides X Class).
Star Cards, which were added in a previous update, are also seeing some refinements. Completing certain Star Cards will now grand you new rewards, including rare vehicles like the Hot Wheels Rip Rod or Ferrari 812 Superfast, or cosmetics like the Black Chicken Suit and Viking Helmet.
Finally, several bug fixes and changes have been made with Update 11. Most notable is the recent wall-riding prevention mechanic has been adjusted and will now be able to detect impacts with walls during races that are minor and accidental so players are not penalized.
That’s all for the Series 11 Update, and will be launching today so get your Track-tors ready! Worth noting that nothing was mentioned regarding the currently locked LEGO Barn Find, or where the missing seven vehicles from the expansion are.
