DiRT 5 Revealed, Launches This October for Next Gen and Current Gen Consoles
After teasing a new entry earlier this week, Codemasters have officially revealed DiRT 5 during Inside Xbox and will launch in October for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and Early 2021 for Google Stadia!

DiRT 5 will put players behind the wheel of incredible off-road machines in iconic real world locales including New York, China, Norway and Brazil - with over 70 dynamic routes featuring extreme conditions which Codemasters is promising “no two races will be the same.”
DiRT 5 features a deep, story-based career mode including two of the most iconic voice actors in gaming - Troy Baker and Nolan North, in addition to various familiar names across the car culture world including Donut Media. DiRT 5’s career mode will also include decision-based gameplay changes and a proper narrative for players to dive into.
Codemasters have revealed that DIRT 5 will feature the franchise’s deepest livery editor yet, with an in-race photo mode to show off your creative side. DiRT 5 will also feature 12 player online multiplayer with objective-based game modes, in addition to 4-player local split screen.
DiRT 5 will also take advantage of next-generation console hardware, running at 4K 60fps on Xbox Series X (and presumably PlayStation 5), with an in-game option to run at 120fps. The game will leverage the new SSD found inside the consoles and load “almost instantaneously” from the moment you boot it up.
DiRT 5 offers two editions available to pre-order: Launch Edition and Amplified Edition. The Amplified Edition gives you 3-day early access to DiRT 5 and immediate access to 3 cars (Ariel Nomad Tactical, Audi TT Safari, VW Beetle Rallycross), XP and Currency boosts, and 3 new player sponsors with fresh objectives, rewards and liveries.
The Amplified Edition includes all post-launch DLC which will feature a minimum of 12 new cars and 60 Career events, new player sponsors with fresh rewards and liveries, and more items for features yet to be revealed. Pre-ordering either additions will give you access to the Ford F-150 Raptor PreRunner by Deberti Design.
