Kazunori Yamauchi, Producer at Polyphony Digital, took to Twitter today to respond to fans eagerly wanting to know more about Gran Turismo Sport, and what post-launch content they can expect later in its life-cycle.

When asked if the game will feature Super GT cars, Yamauchi-San replied saying that the plan is for them to be added in as DLC later down the road. He followed up with another tweet, "Cars, cars, cars..., of course, more and more the DLC will add. Because it's Gran Turismo"

Yamauchi-San also went on to say that that new tracks and circuits will "of course" be added in the future as DLC.

While this may be very vague, and gives us no indication of when we may expect DLC for Gran Turismo Sport to be released, its good to see Yamauchi-San acknowledging what fans want when it comes to Gran Turismo Sport's post-launch content. Right now the car list lacks a lot in terms of old-school JDM, so here's hoping this is a big priority for DLC cars to be added in.

Gran Turismo Sport launches this week on 17th October in North America, and 18th October in European regions - with several console bundles available, including a black/silver PS4 console and Dualshock 4 emblazoned with the iconic Gran Turismo logo. Be sure to keep an eye out in the next week or so for our Review Impressions!
