With The Crew 2’s next major update The Chase just over a week away, it seems Ubisoft are planning to introduce a Battle Pass-esque progression system to the game with this huge new update, according to a now-deleted trailer.

Earlier today, The Crew 2’s official Twitter shared a new video establishing the story behind The Crew 2’s all-new Netflix-style TV service “Motorflix”, which will be at the center of each new season’s theme for the game going forward, starting with The Chase.

You can find this new video below:

On November 25, the seventh update brought to the Crew 2 introduces Motorflix, a television production company that hires you as a lead driver for an action ...

However most interestingly was another video that was uploaded, which has since been deleted and reuploaded by YouTuber THMSPLAYS, revealing that a “Motor Pass” is being introduced with The Chase and will feature both paid and free tiers that are unlocked via gameplay progression.

According to the trailer, the Motor Pass will be a “brand new way to unlock exclusive rewards every two months” providing up to 50 tiers of content per episode.

The standard Motorpass gives all players 11 tiers to progress through, including various vanity items and one exclusive vehicle. The premium Motorpass will cost 80,000 Crew Credits to purchase and will give access to all 50 tiers including three new vehicles, vanity items, Crew Credit packs and bucks.

In addition, there will be a “time-saver” version of the premium Motor Pass costing 150,000 Crew Credits, which will immediately unlock the first 12 tiers.

This trailer also confirms the four vehicles available in The Chase Episode 1’s Motor Pass :

  • 2020 Bugatti Chiron Interception Unit (FREE)

  • 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Interception Unit

  • 2020 Corvette Chevrolet Stingray Interception Unit

  • 2020 BMW M8 Coupe Competition Interception Unit
