Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is getting a brand-new content update which adds a wrap editor alongside a next gen performance boost for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, and arrives tomorrow February 25th.

Previously teased prior to the launch of Hot Pursuit Remastered, the wrap editor is a brand new feature which wasn’t included in the original 2010 release and allows players to create elaborate designs and custom liveries for any car.

For those familiar with Ghost’s NFS titles, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered’s wrap editor functions much like the one found in Need for Speed Heat, with options in the colour picker menu when selecting a car to choose a pre-made wrap or design your own.

Unlike Need for Speed Heat, player-made wraps cannot be shared to the community for others to download but can be seen by others in online races including cross-play. The wrap editor has a 300 decal/100MB limit and functionality to report inappropriate wraps has been added at the end of an online race.

For Hot Pursuit Remastered owners playing on next-gen consoles, 4K 60fps support has been added for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Last gen pro machines will benefit aswell, with PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X now capable of running at 4K 50+ fps range.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered’s Wrap Editor update arrives tomorrow February 25th on all platforms.
