Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.45 Adds Four New Cars, Wet Weather Tracks and More


After being teased by Gran Turismo director Kazunori Yamauchi earlier this week, Gran Turismo Sport’s latest update is now available to download weighing it at just over 2GBs and adds four brand-new vehicles, new wet weather tracks and more!

Here’s the full rundown of all the new content added with Update 1.45!

New Cars


Four new vehicles have been added in this update, which seem to line up with the communities predictions based on Yamauchi-San’s tweet earlier this week.

  • Chevrolet Corvette StingRay Racer Concept ’59 (Gr.X)

  • Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Package '18 (N700)

  • Ferrari 365 GTB4 '71 (N400)

  • Dodge Super Bee '70 (N300)

New Wet Weather Tracks


More wet weather tracks have made its way to Gran Turismo Sport in Update 1.45, with two new wet condition variants of the iconic Tokyo Expressway circuit now available.

The wt condition races have been added to 'Tokyo Expressway - Central Loops' and 'Tokyo Expressway - East Loops' layouts.

New GT League Events


Seven new GT League rounds have been added to Gran Turismo Sport’s single player offering for players to complete, with two new rounds each in the Beginner, Amatuer and Professional Leagues, and one new round in the Endurance League.

Here are the seven new rounds coming to GT League events:

  • Beginner League
    2 new rounds added to the 'Stars & Stripes'.

  • Amateur League
    2 new rounds added to the 'Group 3 Cup'.

  • Professional League
    2 new rounds added to the 'La Festa Cavallino'.

  • Endurance League
    1 new round added to the 'Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series'.

New Scapes and Michelin Partnership


A new ‘Raindrops’ list has been added to the special featured section in the Scapes list, alongside a few new Michelin related items based on their new partnership with Gran Turismo.

A 'Michelin' section has been added to both the Museum and in the Brand Central, alongside new Michelin logos appearing on certain tracks in the game, featuring on the 'Car Settings' screen as the Tyre Technology partner and featuring in the championship as the Official Tyre Supplier.

And as per usual, various other smaller features, improvements and bug fixes have been implemented in this update.
