Codemasters have announced that the upcoming rally sim sequel DiRT Rally 2.0 will be getting official VR support later this summer.

Tweeted out on the official DiRT Twitter account, PC players who own Oculus Rift VR headsets will be able to play DiRT Rally 2.0 entirely in VR later this summer.

No further information was shared on whether other VR headsets such as the HTC Vive will be supported on PC, or if the title will receive PlayStation VR support on PS4.

This is big news for DiRT fans as VR support has been a huge request in the DiRT community, with the previous entry DiRT 4 lacking in VR support for PC.

DiRT Rally 2.0 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this month on February 26th.
