A new Forza game has leaked, though it’s probably not what you’re expecting.

Over on the recent Forza Week In Review blogpost, Turn 10’s community manager Brian Ekberg used an incorrect hyperlink when mentioning Forza eSport player Raceboy77’s recent Forza Motorsport 7 win. The hyperlink linked to an inaccessible local file with a description revealing a new Forza title: Forza Street.

“Developed in partnership with UK-based studio, Electric Square, Forza Street is built from the ground up to support a wide range of Windows 10, iOS, and Android devices.”

It’s been rumoured for a long time that a new third sub-title Forza entry is in development, and its possible that Forza Street might be it.

What’s interesting is that Electric Square put out a similar sounding title late last year called ‘Miami Street’ and is a studio affiliated with Microsoft Studios. The title is a freemium racing game and launched exclusively for Windows 10 via the Microsoft Store.

Back in July last year, Turn 10 revealed that Forza Motorsport 8 is not currently in development, indicating that there will (most likely) not be a new console Forza game in 2019. However, Forza fans were told to expect big things throughout 2019, so a new spinoff free-to-play title isn’t entirely out of the question.

The next Forza Monthly livestream was also recently announced, with Forza franchise director Dan Greenawalt set to appear on the episode which could be an indicator of some big Forza news set to be revealed on the show, and where we’ll most likely get an official reveal for Forza Street.

It’s worth mentioning that Forza Motorsport 4 recently appeared on Xbox DVR’s website, suggesting that Forza Motorsport 4 is coming to Xbox One via backwards compatibility, and could also be revealed during next weeks Forza Monthly livestream.
